Aaron Dietrich

Aaron graduated from Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, TX where he majored in Broadcast Journalism.  During his free time, Aaron can be found working out, golfing or on his lazy boy watching sports with his wife Kim. He also spends countless hours trying to figure out ways to get under Nick White’s skin.

As KNOE’s sports director, Aaron has been in charge of the most watched and honored sports department in Louisiana. He has been honored with the following: 2016 & 2015 Louisiana Association of Broadcasters Best Sports Show; Louisiana Associated Press Top Sportscast in 2009,2005,2004,2003 and 2002; top sports story in 2010, 2009, 2008, 2006 and 2003; 2012 feature of the year. He also has honored over 13-hundred area high school athletes with Aaron’s Aces awards in the last 16 years.

Aaron has been with ESPN 97.7 for five years and enjoys the freedom that radio allows. Not limited to a nightly four minute sportscast, Aaron enjoys offering up opinions on the topics, personalities and events that keep north Louisiana sports fans talking. With a strong cup of coffee in his right hand, Aaron looks forward to visiting with you every weekday morning from 7-9 am.
